Manifesting Intention without Attachment

CREATING INTENTIONS DOES WORK!”

Today is my last day of a 3 1/2 week vacation in Viet Nam. I set an intention before leaving and let it be.

There were times when making choices that my intention came back to me and reminded me of what was most important. My intention was to say yes to new opportunties--those opportunities mostly showed up in the form of human relations. I totally enjoyed meeting and talking with new friends--both locals and travelers.

I ate meals with new friends from Denmark and Australia. I helped a girl at the beach with her English spelling and helped a tour guide with his pronounciation. We stayed so long at one hotel that they offered making us a special breakfast (Pho--the national soup). The manager of the same hotel invited us for dinner one night so we really got to see how real people live (vs eating in restaurants). Saying yes opened my eyes AND my heart...

My other intention was to 'bask in the light' and refresh my spirit. Well, 2 weeks at the beach did both. Even though one person at a hotel said 2 weeks in Hoi An would be too much, we decided to see for ourselves and if it felt too much, we'd move on--in the present moment and according to our own experience.

Not only was two weeks not too much, we tried to extend our time a couple of days (couldn't do that which was ok too). Two weeks at the beach was very restorative and gave me the Vitamin D my body so craves. AND I found my new favorite place in SE Asia.

Creating an intention helped me live in the present moment, was a reminder of what was important TO ME when it came to making choices, and made this the best trip ever.

CREATING INTENTIONS DOES WORK! I find that over and over. What is the intention that will serve you in the next aspect (big or small) in your life. See you back in Seattle.
