Janet Harvey Elected to Global ICF Board
inviteCHANGE Leader Janet Harvey Brings Global Perspective to International Coach Federation Board
Lexington, KY — Celebrated life and leadership coach Janet Harvey has been elected to the International Coach Federation (ICF) Board. A prominent leader of inviteCHANGE (originally known as Academy for Coach Training), Harvey will begin her term on January 1, 2009.

“I look forward to engaging members through chapters and conferences around the globe,” says Harvey. “I am committed to the excellence and advancement of the art, science and practice of professional coaching.”
A Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Harvey is an experienced, versatile expert in leadership development. A former officer with Charles Schwab and General Mills, Janet is a seasoned executive operating for the past ten years as an entrepreneur in organizational consulting and coaching.
“The contribution coaches make in the lives of others generates personal passion and inspiration,” says Harvey. “This leadership role is a privilege and a responsibility that I hold sacred.”
A former liaison to the ICF Regulatory Committee, Harvey follows a strict code of ethics and is committed to generating globally adopted competency and ethics standards.
“Long-term, thriving success for the ICF depends upon full member engagement, fresh creativity, and colleagues helping colleagues develop,” says Harvey. “We need to establish and gain adoption for global coaching standards and accelerate the perceived value of earning an ICF credential.”
Professional coaches Ira Dressner, PCC, USA; Krissy Jackson, ACC, Switzerland; Ed Modell, PCC, USA; and Pat Obuchowski, ACC, USA, will join Harvey on the global ICF Board.
