I can't log in to Moodle, or my password isn't working. What should I do?

To log in to the Advance website or the Advance LMS, you'll need your email address and the password you setup on registration and your browser must have cookies enabled.

Below are instructions on for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome

Internet Explorer

To accept cookies:

  1. Click Tools, Internet Options
  2. Click the Privacy tab Change the slide bar under Settings to "Medium." This allows first-party cookies but still blocks any unwanted third-party cookies
  3. Click Apply, then click OK

To enable popups:

  1. Click Tools, Internet Options
  2. Click the Privacy tab Remove the check from the box "Block pop-ups"
  3. Click Apply, then click OK

Firefox

To accept cookies

  1. Click Tools, Options
  2. Click Privacy on the left
  3. Click the plus sign to the left of "Cookies"
  4. Check both "Allow sites to set cookies" and "for the originating web site only"
  5. Click OK

To enable popups

  1. Click Tools, Options
  2. Click Web Features on the left
  3. Remove the check from the "Block Popup Windows" box
  4. Click OK

Safari

To accept cookies

  1. Choose Preferences from the Safari menu and click Security
  2. Click "Only from sites you navigate to" to prevent storing cookies that come from websites other than those you open.
  3. Select this option to prevent advertisers on websites you visit from storing cookies on your computer
  4. To see the cookies you have accepted, click Show Cookies.
  5. You can then remove cookies

Turn off the popup blocker

  1. Choose Preferences from the Safari menu and click Security
  2. Choose Security Settings and remove the check from the Block Popup Window option

Chrome

To accept cookies

  1. Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar icon
  2. Select Options
  3. Click the Under the Bonnet tab
  4. Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section
  5. Click the Cookies tab in the "Content Settings" dialog box
  6. Select Allow local data to be set from the options
  7. Click Close

Turn off the popup blocker

  1. Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar
  2. Select Options
  3. Click the Under the Bonnet tab
  4. Click Content settings in the "Privacy" section
  5. Click the Pop-ups tab in the Content Settings dialog that appears
  6. Select "Allow all sites to show pop-ups." Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Exceptions
  7. Click Close

What does the Community button do?

The community button links you to our collaborative forum for the module you are participating in. Allowing you to share your thoughts and questions with other users.

Our training experts monitor these forums and discussions as another means of helping you to understand and learn the skills and lessons from the modules. At any time whilst in the Learning Management System or whilst taking part in the modules, you can access these forums.

What does the Glossary button do?

We hope our interactive modules are easy to understand but if there's any phrases you are not sure about, have a look in our glossary. You can access the glossary from within the LMS or the modules.

What does the Comment button do?

You can keep notes and make comments about the modules as you are learning, simply click on the 'Comments' button to add a new note or view previous notes that you have made. These are available from the modules or from the Learning Management System.

What does the Transcript button do?

We have created a full transcript of each module to help you re-cap. Simple click on the 'Transcript' button from within the module to see helpful notes and guides about the module you are participating in.

Where can I access the modules?

You can view the modules from anywhere with internet access. Please refer to our technical requirements for details on hardware and software prerequisites.

The modules combine interactive Flash form elements with streaming video to provide an effective learning environment.

How long will it take to complete a module?

Each modules lasts between 45- 90 minutes and is done in your own pace.

What is a program?

A program is a set of modules that are combined together to create a full and complete sales training package.

How do I know what module to choose?

Each module is designed to focus on one area of the sales process. Before you begin look through the module discriptions to discover what module will best suit your needs.

What is eTraining?

eTraining is an interactive online training module designed to get you involved in every stage of the learning process.

What is a 'forum'?

The user community mostly communicates via forums inside "modules".  Once you are enrolled in a module you can post in a forum and communicate with others in the inviteCHANGE community.

What is a community?

The inviteCHANGE community allows you to connect with other coaches in the academy. Share your experiences and meet others that can help you along the way.

Do I need prior experience with online learning?

No, the inviteCHANGE Sales Academy is a user friendly system. In minutes you will be able to enjoy interactive sales modules anytime, any place.
