About Mike Eldon
Always with a coaching mindset, Mike helps individual leaders and organizations align around common visions and values. He is a management consultant on leadership and strategy, change management and performance management, and his unique style enables those with whom he works to become relaxed and light… and so confident, bold and creative. He was brought up in London, has lived in Nairobi, Kenya, since 1977, and is married to a Kenyan, Evelyn Mungai.
Much of his consulting work is through the World Bank and GIZ, around Africa and beyond, helping units of government to overcome the non-technical obstacles to performance through developing their strategic thinking and emotional intelligence. Other clients include NGOs, corporates and family businesses.
Mike is also a director of companies, a co-founder of the Institute for Responsible Leadership and a Rotarian, and he is a longstanding columnist for Kenya’s Business Daily. He is in demand as a speaker, panellist and facilitator at high level events, including on radio and television.
